Kathryn A. Dunkle (Mimi), 68, of Seneca, PA., went to be with her Lord after a courageous battle with an extended illness on Friday Aug. 30, 2024. She is now a guardian angel to her loving family she leaves behind.
Born Feb 5, 1956 in Corry, PA., she was the daughter of Dorothy Kalkbrenner Cleland and the late Harry Cleland.
After graduating high school, Kathryn graduated from Cosmetology school and was a licensed beautician.
She had worked in retail for many years as a sales associate.
Kathryn was previously married to Lee Weckerly and he survives. They were friends to the end.
She enjoyed singing, enjoyed nature and spending time in the woods.
She was artsy and enjoyed working with tree punk,( artist fungus.)
Most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Kathryn is survived by one daughter
Dee Weckerly and fiance Tobias Rozanski of Seneca
Three grandchildren
Kiaira Dignard and fiancé Benjamin McKinney
Braden Rekiel and significant other Hailie Hicks
Gavin Loll
And great grandchildren Blakely and Kinsley McKinney
She is also survived by a sister
Sara Cleland of Titusville
and by two brothers
David Cleland and wife Deanna of Oil City
Chris Cleland and wife Pattie of Titusville
Several nieces and nephews also survive
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two infants, her fiance Rick Winger and an uncle Chip Cleland
There will be no viewing or visitation, as per Kathryn’s wishes.
A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
