Kathryn P. (Wolfe) Wise Heckathorn

Kathryn P. Heckathorn (Debbie’s mom) passed away Sunday Sept. 7, 2025 at UPMC-NW in Seneca.

            Born May 19, 1936 in Clearfield, PA., she was one of nine children ,daughter of the late Bessie Kathryn Wolfe.

Kathryn had worked as a clerk in the banking and insurance industry.

She was previously married to Thomas Tenney  Sr.  and he survives, she later was married to Albert Wise and he preceded her in death, she then married Leroy Heckathorn and he also preceded her in death.

Kathryn had attended the Oil City Church of the Nazarene and currently was attending the Galloway Church.

She enjoyed sewing, needlework and playing her organ, but most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She belonged to the Senior Center in Cranberry.

Survivors include a daughter

Judy (Debbie) Tenney

Three grandchildren

Rebecca Anderson and her husband Andrew of Oil City

Gregory Tenney and his wife Kia of Erie

Allye Tenney and her husband Darius Bustamante of FL

And three great grandchildren

Aria Anderson

Troian and Beau Tenney

A special niece

Marion Scott and her husband Roger

And several other nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by a son Thomas B. Tenney Jr.

Friends will be received from 7-9 P.M. Thursday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

And again on Friday from 9:00A.M.-10:00A.M.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Roy Gearhart, Presiding.

Interment will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Galloway Church of Franklin, Oakwood Heights or to a charity of ones choice.
