Laurie E. Long, 61, of Rouseville, PA., passed away Wednesday May 13, 2026 at UPMC-Hamot In Erie, PA.
Born Feb. 22, 1965 in Fort Knox, KY., she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. & Marcella A. “Sally” Nulph Long.
Laurie was a 1983 graduate of Oil City High School.
She was currently employed by Bayada Health services, had worked for over 20 years at the Presbyterian Home and had been a bartender/manager at the Pulaski Club for many years where she was a lifetime member.
She was a hardworking woman and was devoted to her family.
Laurie was a patriot., “We’re Right, They’re Wrong”, God Bless America.
She is survived by two children
Kelly Long of Oil City and her children Max, Maddie and Molly
Edward Wright and his wife Brandi and their children Rylie and Jaycie
She is also survived by the following siblings
Sue and Jeff Kasbee of Franklin
Diane and Ken Coleman of Elgin, SC.
Paul Long of Rouseville
Joseph H. Long and his wife Kim of Rouseville
Bill Long and his wife Jamie of Houston, TX
And numerous nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by good friends Shari Heeter and Emilee Bucholz.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Debbie Long and lifelong partner Edward M. Wright.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
A Celebration of Life will be held at her son Ed’s house (20 Horne Lane Oil City, PA.) on Sunday May 17 from 1:00-6:00P.M.
The family asks if your coming to bring chairs and a side dish to share if you wish.
The Reinsel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
