Linda Ann (McAlkich) Siar of Franklin Pa., ascended from this world peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones on July 25th 2023.
She was born on July 30th 1948, to Frank Sr. and Alaska (Barto) McAlkich in a coal town named #16 in Clearfield County Pennsylvania. She was a Graduate of Panama High School in Panama New York, Class of 1967. As a professional, she held prestigious titles in her chosen career and always strived for excellence, managing to amass numerous awards for her accomplishments and outstanding performance.
Linda was an inspiration for countless people with her sunny disposition and vibrant personality.
She cherished her family above all else and devoted her entire life to being an absolutely wonderful Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Sister. She always demonstrated patience, compassion, understanding, generosity and affection. She was sincerely a caring, thoughtful, gentle, kind hearted, beautiful soul who was loved by all.
Throughout her life she enjoyed many hobbies and pastimes from cooking, baking, canning, quilting and sewing, to being a jeweler and gemologist. She was naturally talented at whatever she took an interest in and always found the time to educate and instruct others.
In her later years she delighted in sharing companionship with her adopted rescue dogs Rudy and Hershey, visiting with friends and family, foot tapping to her favorite Patsy Cline songs and found the comedy of Jeff Dunham particularly hilarious. Her beaming smiles and resounding laughter that once lit up a room will be greatly missed by everyone.
