Lisa A. Yashinski, 68, of Oil City, PA., passed Dec. 23, 2025 at home after a lingering illness.
Born April 28, 1957 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of Sally Bresnan Keil and the late Robert Keil.
Lisa was a 1975 graduate of Oil City High School and a 1979 graduate of Clarion University, where she earned a degree in Early Child Education.
Lisa started working at St. Joseph School in Oil City, worked for a short time at Headstart and then went to St. Titus School in Titusville.
She ended her teaching career at St. Patrick School in Franklin and was proud of her 33 years as a teacher.
On June 13, 1981 she married James J. Yashinski in St. Stephen’s Church and he survives.
Lisa enjoyed reading, decorating the house for the holidays, baking, crafting, cleaning and enjoyed taking walks.
She was a member of the Business and Professional Junior Womens Club and a longtime member of St. Stephens Church.
Most of all, Lisa enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her family.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a special nephew

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital, Shriners, Oil City Library or to the Venango County Humane Society.
