Margaret Ann Port, 78, of Franklin, PA., passed away Jan. 18, 2025 at UPMC-Hamot in Erie after an extended illness.
Born January 19, 1946 in Franklin, PA., she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Gertrude B. Hall Armstrong.
Margaret was a graduate of Franklin High School.
She was married to Angelo Port and he preceded her in death.
Margaret had worked as a pastry chef for Disney.
She enjoyed making cookies and cakes and cooking for her family.
She also enjoyed making wreaths, working with flowers and socializing with friends.
Margaret is survived by three children
Charles Pettit and his wife Theresa of Titusville,
Jessica Black and her husband Leland of Oil City
Robert Pettit of Warrington, VA.
A son in law
Mark Hart of Wintergarden, FL.
Several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter
Karen Pettit Hart on Dec. 16, 2023.
Services will be announced at a later date.
