Martin Scannell Obituary

Martin L. “Marty” Scannell, 82, a resident of Sugar Creek Station passed away Friday Oct. 11, 2019 after a period of declining health.

Born Jan. 28, 1937 in Franklin, PA., he was the son of the late

Evan Scannell & Clara Myers Scannell.

Marty had traveled with the carnival for many years.

He will be remembered as a kind person who would give you the shirt off his back.

He enjoyed walking and being with the carnival.

He is survived by close friends Patricia Bodien and Kelly Braden and their families and three nephews.

Martin was preceded in death by a son Martin Scannell Jr. and brothers Harold Scannell , Larry Scannell and James Scannell and sisters Paige, Mary, Twila and Jean.

There will be no viewing or visitation.

Interment will be private.
