Mary K. (Stanton) Johnson

Mary K. Johnson, 83, of Reno, PA., passed away Wednesday March 13, 2024 at UPMC-Hamot in Erie.

                Born Dec. 26, 1940 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late John & Madeline Flynn Stanton.

Mary was a graduate of Oil City High School.

She was previously married to Charles McLaughlin.

In 2003 she married Donald Johnson and he survives.

Mary worked as a RSA at Polk Center for many years.

She enjoyed gardening, watching the birds and enjoyed all animals.

Mary loved the outdoors, family picnics and the company of her children and grandchildren.

She was a member of the Torah Club and a member of the Grace Community Bible Fellowship.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by 5 children

Christine Maxon and her husband Fred of Franklin

Diane Buckley and her husband Scott of Andover, NJ

Kevin McLaughlin of Meadville

John McLaughlin of Reno

7 grandchildren

Hannah, Olivia and Merrick Buckley

As well as several nieces and nephews

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Tim McLaughlin

Friends will be received from 10A.M. -11:00 A.M.  Monday March 18 in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Flaherty, Presiding.

Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
