Memory Ardelle Miller

Memory Ardelle (McLane) Miller, 94, passed away peacefully at home Monday August 5, 2019 after suffering a stroke.

Born October 2, 1924 in Oil City, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lyla Butler McLane.

She graduated from Oil City High School in 1942 and enjoyed her meetings with classmates.

Memory was employed by Bell Telephone during WWII.  She also was a Nurses Aide at United Hospital in St. Paul, MN.. She spent her retirement in Florida and moved back to Oil City in 2004.  Memory was active in the Christ Episcopal Church when she was able.

She married Merlin E. Miller in Newport, RI in 1963, and he preceded her in death in 1992.

Memory is survived by two sons; Tim Yost, and Ron Yost and wife Betty; A granddaughter Anita; and great grandchildren; Masen, Arial, and Luke.

She is also survived by Nieces; Barb Lauer, Jodi Gault, and Lois Roth and husband Steve, and a nephew Tom McLane.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband Thomas Yost, siblings; Susan Gault, Ken McLane, and Ronald McLane, and a granddaughter Chevy.

The family will hold a memorial service at a time to be announced at a later date.
