Patricia J. (Toy) Myers

Patricia J. Myers, 92, of Oil City, PA., passed away Tuesday  April 30, 2024 at Southwoods in Titusville, PA. after an extended illness.

                Born Oct. 9, 1931 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Winifred Curran Toy.

Pat was a graduate of Oil City High School.

She was married on Sept. 15, 1956 in Our Lady Help of Christians Church to Thomas F. “Tucker” Myers and he preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 2022.

Pat had worked several years for the City of Oil City and retired from Quaker State.

A Member of St. Stephens Church, part of St. Joseph Parish, she was also a member of the rosary society and the former CD of A.

Pat enjoyed baking and doing exercises and  enjoyed watching  baseball, especially the Dodgers. Her favorite player of all time was Jackie Robinson.

She had several dogs over the years, Sport, Penny, Gonzo and Shiloh and  she enjoyed their companionship. Pat loved to get up and dance whenever a Michael Jackson video was on tv.

She  is survived by a son

Thomas D. Myers and his wife Sheri of Seneca

Julie Myers of Oil City

And four grandchildren

Dan Myers and his wife Bree

Dylan Myers

And by her great granddaughter

Ella Anne Kennemuth

She is also survived by her sister Ramona Carrow and several nieces and nephews

Pat was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy Kennemuth and sisters Joanne Stevenson, Yvonne Smith and Marie Blauser and a brother John “Jack” Toy

Friends will be received from 10:00 A.M. -11:00 A.M.  Thursday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Fr. John Miller, presiding.

Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Venango County Humane Society.
