Patricia A. (Gureczny) Riley

Patricia A. Riley, 74, of Oil City, PA., passed away Monday April 13, 2026 at UPMC-Hamot in Erie.

            Born January 18, 1952 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Jerome J. Gureczny Sr. and Helen Nicolas Gureczny.

Pat was a graduate of Oil City High School.

She was married on June 26, 1981 to David F. Riley and he survives.

Pat was employed as a pharmacy tech at Glenview Apothecary, Southside Pharmacy and for Giant Eagle.

She later worked in the cafeteria for the Oil City School District and for the Hospital.

Pat enjoyed shopping, playing bingo and the companionship of her dogs.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons.

John Riley and his wife Corinne Carbaugh of Oil City

Two grandchildren

Molly and Rachel

A brother

John Gureczny of Seneca

A brother-in-law

Dan Riley and his wife Kathleen of Oil City

A sister-in-law

Judy Riley of Seneca

And several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Bob Gureczny and a brother-in-law John Riley

Friends will be received from 5:30P.M.-7:30P.M. Thursday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:30 P.M. Thursday in the funeral home with Fr. Daniel Hoffman, Presiding.

Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made  to Venango County Humane Society.
