Patricia H. (Hovis) Sunderlin

Patricia H. Sunderlin, 88 of Oil City, PA., passed away Dec. 24, 2024 at Oakwood Heights Village.

            Born in Renova, PA., on Nov. 23, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Velma Sapp Hovis.

Pat was a graduate of Renova High School.

She was married to Howard D. Sunderlin and he preceded her in death.

Pat worked for the Visiting Nurses Association of Venango County.

She was a member of St. Joseph Church.

Pat is survived by two children

James Sunderlin and his wife Kathy of Venus

Sheila Updegraff and her husband Matt of Oil City

Three grandchildren

Dana Sunderlin., Sarah Jones & her husband Phil

And Seth Updegraff and his wife Sarah.

Several great grandchildren and step  grandchildren and step great grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter Anne Sunderlin, a brother Robert Hovis and a sister Roberta Vecellio

Services were held privately.

The Reinsel funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Interment was in Shaw Farm Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Church Building Fund.
