Raymond H. Beichner

Raymond H. Beichner, 81, of Tionesta(President  Village Road)passed away Tuesday June 23, 2026 at Akron General Hospital Cleveland Clinic.

Born Feb. 10, 1945 in Oil City, PA., Ray was the son of Ralph H. Beichner and Laura Niederriter Beichner.

He served as an altar boy for many years in his youth as his family were parishioners at St. Joseph Church in Oil City.

A graduate of Venango Christian High School, Ray married the former Janet D. Rex on June 10, 1967, and she survives.

A very active member of his community, Ray was a pillar of Venango County.

He had served on the Forest Area School Board, and the Venango Technology Center.

A small business owner, Ray and his wife operated B & B Glass Center on the Seneca Hill from 1980 until its closing in 2013, as well as the Turtle Bay Lodge in President and Eagle’s Landing.

Ray enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating and enjoyed their house boat on Kinzua.

He was active in the Whitetails Unlimited and spent many hours at Camp Coffman.

He was a member of St. Anthony’s Church in Tionesta.

Ray was the sole survivor of the original President Village Road owners and was one of three men that saved President Village Road from the Western PA. Conservancy.

A hard worker, Ray was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather and a loving husband and was respected by the Amish Communities in Fryburg and Union City

He is also survived by three step grandchildren

Stephanie Shaffer and her husband Mike

And by two step great grandchildren

Karleigh and Makena Shaffer

He also leaves behind two sisters

Sr. Laura Beichner, O.S.B.

 Betty Mansfield and her husband Leo

And a brother

Jerry Beichner and his wife Linda

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved him very much.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Ronald, Harold and Vincent Beichner and a sister Dorothy Jacoby.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and from 6-8 P.M. July 7 in the Reinsel Funeral Home and again from 10 A.M.-11:-00A.M. July 8 in the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held on July 8 at 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with Fr. Joseph Kalinowski, Presiding.

Memorials may be made to the President Chapel, Community Services or to Pinegrove Fire Dept.
