Rebecca D. McDonald, 77, of Oil City, PA., passed away Thursday Sept. 11, 2025 after a brief illness.
Born August 21, 1948 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Jack and Ruth Westfall Daugherty.
Rebecca graduated from Oil City High School and obtained an associates degree from Clarion University.
She worked as an optician for Dehn Optical, Pearle Vision and Optical World.
Rebecca was married on Jan 16, 1987 to Alfred McDonald and he survives.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and reading.
She also enjoyed bowling and camping at Hemlock Point.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children
Michael Deeter and his wife Lori of Foster City, MI.
Curtis Deeter and his wife Melanie of Oil City
Brynne Deeter and her significant other Dan Lauer of Oil City

Donna Ashley and her husband David of Daytona Beach Shores, FL.
Brenda Liebmann of Seneca
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Gage and Hunter Deeter, Colin Deeter, Tera Deeter and David Thomas III.

Ashley Bedick, Matthew McClintock and Darrin Liebmann and Scott Chapel
And 4 Great Grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister Jacqueline Gilbert of Oil City, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Robert Randal Daugherty and a sister Juanita McCauley
There will be no viewing or visitation.
