Richard A. Kutchravy, 78, of Oil City, PA., passed away from Alzheimer’s Dementia Sunday March 2, 2025 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 11, 1946 in Latrobe, PA., he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna Thomas Kutchravy.
He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War on the U.S.S. Calvert and the U.S.S. Richard E. Byrd.
On April 20, 1974 he was married in St. Venantius Church to the former Darlene M. Schrum and she survives.
Rich worked at Pennzoil for over thirty years where he was an instrument mechanic.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and gardening and spending time with his family.
He also enjoyed bingo and an occasional trip to the casino.

Matthew Kutchravy and his wife Myria of Stafford, VA.
Melissa Ritchey and her husband Jeromy of Oil City

Madison Ritchey and Gabriel Ritchey
He is also survived by three sisters

Karen Hauptman and her husband Joe of Sebring, FL
Deb Allen of Oil City
As well as many nieces and nephews
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Donald, Thomas and David Kutchravy and a sister Patricia Strum
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Services will take place at the convenience of the family.
