Robert W. Brown Jr.

Robert W. Brown Jr., 62, of Oil City, PA., passed away Nov. 8, 2025 at Oil City Healthcare after a brief illness.

            Born Jan. 24, 1963 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Robert W. Brown Sr. & Donna Mosier Brown.

Robert was a graduate of Oil City High School.

He served in the United States Air Force.

He was married on Nov. 13, 1982 to the former Bridget I. McGinty and she survives.

Robert had worked as a plumber for over twenty years for Luton Plumbing in Clarion, PA.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He enjoyed the companionship of his mastiffs Loki and Cinder and also enjoyed his exotic pets over the years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children

Christopher McGinty and his girlfriend Keri of CT.

Daniel Robert Brown and his wife Meaghan of CT.

Ashley Brown and her significant other Robert of CT.

6 grandchildren

Emily, Brooke, Lacey, Mariah, Alyssa, and Robert

He is also survived by his siblings.

Robin Dodd and her husband Joel of KS.

Chad Brown and his wife Jen of VA.

Kerrilyn Brown and her wife Tanya of Philadelphia

A special Aunt

Kenny Snyder of Oil City

And many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Jamie Brown.

Friends will be received from 6P.M.-8P.M. Tuesday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. with his friend Rev. William Hopkins Presiding.

Memorials may be made to the Venango County Humane Society.
