Sharon S. Smith

 Sharon S, Smith, 85, of Shippenville, PA. passed away on May 28th at the   Shippenville Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.

Sharon was born in Harrisville, West Virginia on September 29, 1940.

She was an outdoor enthusiast who cherished everything nature related, especially bird watching. The bright red plumage of the male cardinal made it her favorite bird.

Sharon was preceded in death by her daughter Tina Knight, and son Lewis Williams Jr.

She is survived by her two daughters, Teresa Hazlett of Wasilla, Alaska and Ruth Williams of Oil City, PA. She leaves behind four grandsons, a granddaughter, five great grandchildren, and multiple friends.

Reinsel Funeral home is handling arrangements, including charitable donations for tree planting on their website, to help support Sharon’s bird friends.

A private celebration of life and entombment at Grove Hill Cemetery Mausoleum are planned for a future date.
