Sherry L. (Hosack) Vogan

Sherry L. Vogan, 60, of Oil City, PA., passed away unexpectedly at 4:45 P.M. Friday Nov. 22, 2024 in the Emergency Room at UPMC-Northwest in Seneca.

Born March 20, 1964 in South Bend, IN., she was the daughter of Nancy Winger Hosack and the late Gary Hosack.

Sherry was a graduate of Oil City High School.

She was married on Aug. 6, 1984 to Dan L. Vogan and he survives.

Sherry had worked as a beautician for many years, she had also worked for Provide Medical and for Visionquest and more recent as a caregiver for her mother.

She loved her pets and enjoyed gardening.

Sherry loved to tan in the sun, spend time at the ocean, and go to camp with her friends.

She was a member of the VFW and the Pulaski Club.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughter

Madison O. Vogan of Indiana, PA.

And three uncles

Dan, Larry and Harold “Andy” Winger

She was preceded in death by her father, and half brother Jeff Hosack and half sister Diane Kachik and by an uncle Leroy Winger and aunt Pamela Winger Heath

Friends will be received on Tuesday Nov. 26 from 2:00P.M.-4:00P.M.in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery.
