Thomas Martin Obituary

Thomas L. Martin, 79, of Kennerdell, PA., passed away Saturday March 19, 2022 at his home.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA., on Feb. 11, 1943, he was the son of the late Thomas L. & Margaret E. Thompson Martin.

Tom entered the United States Army out of high school and served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne.

He was married on June 3, 2009 to the former Barbara Lewis and she survives.

Tom loved rebuilding old cars and working in his garage, he also enjoyed woodworking.

He was a welder/boilermaker by trade and traveled extensively erecting water towers.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children

Cindy Eastley & her husband Bill of Gibsonia

Ken Martin of Gibsonia

and by 3 grandchildren

Heather, Shannon and Michael.

He is also survived by a sister Rita Toomey of Pittsburgh and a brother William Martin of FL.

Tom was preceded in death by a sister Doris Thompson Black

Private visitation was in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Services will take place at the convenience of the family.
