Tina Beach Obituary

Tina Marie Beach passed away on December 7, 2024 from Multiple Myeloma, a cancer she was diagnosed with in August of 2023. She had the best care under Dr. Shannon Penland in Seneca and Dr. Joseph Franz in Pittsburgh, who fought to keep her here.

Born on July 29, 1968, she graduated from Oil City Senior High in 1986 and attended Clarion University.

Tina worked in retail all her life, starting out at F. W. Woolworth’s and was in management at Family Dollar and Fashion bug for many years. Tina was most recently employed by Walmart since 2007 and retired in March 2024 due to her health.

She had a wonderful sense of humor and was quick witted. Ever since she was a child she could easily carry on a conversation with anyone about anything. Tina was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and some of her best memories were attending Steeler games. She always said her dream job would be to be down on the field coaching and getting the games won.

She was very interested in genealogy and one of her favorite things to do was walking cemeteries and taking headstone photo requests for people. She enjoyed helping people find the graves of long lost relatives and corresponding with them. “Grave stomping”, she called it.

On July 8th, 1995 she married Michael Beach in Bethel United Methodist Church, he survives. They just had their 29th wedding anniversary. Tina was not one to sit at home, she was happiest with a last minute adventure somewhere that she would spring on him and they would go on a road trip so she could attend dinner then a concert, craft show, ghost walk or find a new cemetery to search. She enjoyed riding their motorcycle and getting out and about. Surviving are her four children that she loved unconditionally to the moon and back. They were her EVERYTHING. Stephanie Beatty and her partner Bobby McClellan, Kiersten Beach and fiancé Brandon Cassidy, Paige Beach, and her only son Gavin Beach, all of Oil City.  Also surviving is her best friend since childhood Marla McNaughton of Tioga, PA and close dear friend Bonnie Wells of Oil City. She cherished her Yorkie Izzie and her rescue Pug, Piper.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and four siblings.

Friends will be received from 5-7 P.M. Wednesday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 P.M.in the funeral home with Pastor Josh Botts, Presiding.

Internment will be in Venus Cemetery.
