It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tommie Brown.
Born on August 8, 1965, she lived a full and heartwarming life until her peaceful departure on June 23, 2026.
Tommie was an incredible woman, often described as being as reliable and prompt as a sunrise. Her contagious spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Her greatest accomplishment, she would often say, was her family.
Raising her children was not just a duty to her, but a passion that she pursued with immense love and dedication.
She is survived by her loving sons, Brandy Brown and Jesse Brown, and her cherished daughter-in-law, Bobbi Brown and Tiffany Whitmer respectively.
Tommie was a devoted grandmother to Kandi, Katilynn, and Rori Norris, Kayden Miller, Haleigh Miller and Hunter Brown.
Their “Grandmom” was their beacon of love, strength and inspiration.
Tommie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Brown, whom she loved unconditionally until her last breath.
She was also preceded by her father Hoawrd Dudley, her mother Della and brother James Dudley.
Their memories were constantly alive in her heart, and she often shared stories about them with her grandchildren.
Those who knew Tommie were inspired by her resilience and her enduring belief in respect. She was like a budding rose in the life of those around her.
Today , as we grieve her loss, we also celebrate the impact she has left on us all. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched and the lives she influenced. She may not be with us in person, but her spirit continues to bloom in our memories.
We bid farewell to Tommie, a remarkable woman, a dedicated mother, beloved grandmother and a captivating soul. Her light will continue to guide us, and her love will forever be etched in our hearts.
