Vicente Samonte Obituary

Vicente De Los Santos, 74, of Astoria New York and Oil City, PA., passed away March 10, 2022 in OIl City after an extended illness.

Born Oct. 31, 1947 in Makati, Phillippines, he was the son of the late Natalio & Theodora De Los Santos Samonte.

Vicente went to school in the Philippines and graduated from college with a degree in Philosophy.

He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Vicente had worked for the United States Postal Service as well as working many years as a medical assistant.

He is survived by his wife Marlene L. McMahon-Samonte and his children

Vinnie Samonte and Theodore Samonte.

He was preceded in death by his two daughters

Military Honors will be accorded by the V.E.TS.Honor Guard with a visitation to follow.

Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
