Virginia A. (Nobles) Blase

Virginia A. Blase, 76, of Oil City, PA., passed away June 28, 2026 at Oakwood Heights Village in Oil City, PA.

          Born Nov. 12, 1949 in Wellsboro, PA., she was the daughter of the late George and Mary English Nobles.

Virginia graduated from Wellsboro High School

She was previously married  to Eugene Bloss Jr. and he preceded her in death.

A nurses aide, she had worked at Valley View and Lysock in Montoursville.

Virginia enjoyed doing word searches, drinking her coffee , spending time  with the grandchildren, talking on the phone and also enjoyed cooking.

She is survived by four children

Eugene Blasé Jr. of Williamsport

Mary Oldt of Wiliamsport

Dianna Blasé of Hughesville

Rick Blase(Jolene) of Montoursville

A former son in law

Matt Oldt of Williamsport

And 5 grandchildren

Conner Oldt, Matthew Oldt, Madison Oldt, Chelsea Oldt and Geno Blasé

And several great grandchildren

She is also survived by three sisters

Beth Moran of Burlington, NJ

Pamela Swatzell of Murfreesboro, TN

Kathy Nobles of NC.

As well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson Kalib Blase and twin granddaughters Amber and Olivia and two brothers George Nobles II and Paul Nobles

Services will be held at a later date in Williamsport.

The Reinsel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
