William E. "Bill" Foyer, 91 of Franklin, PA passed away June 15th, 2024 at Oil City Healthcare and Rehab in Oil City, PA, surrounded by his family.
Born September 30, 1932 in Detroit, MI., he was the son of the late William H. & Helen A. Pleger Foyer.
Bill was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served as a Military Policeman from 1953-1956.
He worked as a machinist for Joy Manufacturing until his retirement.
Bill was married on June 20, 1959 to the former Carol A. Wilson and she preceded him in death on Oct. 11, 2010. He attended Christ Lutheran Church in Oil City and Grace Lutheran Church while living in Franklin.
He was past commander of the Oil City VFW Post 464 and the past Quarter Master. Bill also belonged to the PNA and the Pulaski club.
Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
He is survived by 3 sons. David W. Foyer and Cindy Sanders of Franklin, Michael J. Foyer of Franklin, and Timothy M. Foyer of Henderson, NV. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Sarah Foyer and her partner Brian Crawford of Franklin, PA, Jillian and Brad Kight of Titusville, PA and Joshua Foyer of Cleveland Heights, OH. Also surviving are 5 great grandchildren, Emma, Wyatt, Noah, Scarlett and Cecilia.
He is also survived by nieces Kimberly Borland, Becky Howarth and Shelley Daum.
