I am so sorry to read of Liz's passing! She was a wonderful mentor and instructor for me and the rest of our nursing class at Venango Campus. She was always encouraging and was very comforting to me when I lost my mother in 2006. Thank you, Liz, for all of your guidance and kindness!! I'm sending much love and prayers to your entire family.

My deepest sympathy in your loss... Liz loved her Jerry and was so proud of her boys! Liz always made me feel special, listening to what was going on in my life, sharing advice and laughter, and often completing my sentences for me! I will miss your smile my friend. From the lady that got Velcroed to her hospital bed as I was giving her a kiss...I am so glad we got to share that laugh together :) xoxo

Liz was one of a kind. So many of our lives are that much better for having known her, and call her "friend". Most sincere condolences to Jerry and her entire extended family.

One of the most amazing women I have ever met. I was beyond lucky to have known her and share some very special times. She will always hold a special place in my heart as she was one of the most caring, generous, and beautiful souls in this world. I pray for all the friends and esp. family members to find peace. This world will surely miss her presence.

All my love...

Thoughts and prayers to the family. I had the honor to work with Liz at UPMC Northwest as a floor nurse. She was truly an loving and caring nurse and took the extra time to make sure her patients were cared for. She taught me many things through the years especially patience kindness and how to deal with difficult patients. She would always show patience and would find the best in all and would realize they were just dealing with pain frustration and illness. Many years later I had the pleasure to work beside her again as her a teacher. She took pride in her students and made sure they were learning something new everyday. We are all going to miss a very special person and may all the memories comfort us. God Bless .

I had the honor of working with Liz when she brought her students to Oakwood Heights for Clinical Training. She was a great teacher and the students respected her. I also had the greater honor of becoming friends with her and monthly we would meet for dinner and just chat each other up about whatever was going on in our worlds. We always had a great time. I know one of her biggest dreams was to build a new house and I am so glad to know that that happened for her! She was very proud of her children. I am very saddend by her passing and will miss her greatly. I am sure she is flying high with the angels and not in any pain and also I am sure her mother greeted her with open arms. LOVE YOU LIZ!!
