Keith Edward Whitmer

Keith Edward Whitmer, 62, of 1207 Grandview Rd. Oil City, PA. ,died at 9:05 A.M. Saturday Oct. 7, 2017 after an extended illness.

Born July 17, 1955 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late

Hilton Whitmer & June Williams Whitmer.

Keith graduated from Oil City High School.

He had spent over 40 years as a truck driver, last being employed by McKissick Trucking in Venus.

Keith was a veteran of the United States Army and had served during Desert Storm.

He enjoyed his motorcycle, watching NASCAR and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by two children

Kevin Whitmer of Oil City, PA.

Three grandchildren

Felicia, Reagan and Mikaela

He is also survived by four brothers and sisters

Mary Spencer & her husband Robert of Franklin

Janet Shields & her husband Bill of Oil City

a sister-in-law

Kris Whitmer of Reno

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Bill Whitmer Sr.

Friends will be received from 12 Noon- 2:00P.M. Tuesday Oct. 10 in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Rolland Smith Presiding.

Military Honors will take place at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday Oct. 11 at Lamey Cemetery.
