NANCY ANN ROGERS 66 of 338 Oak Rd. Oil City, PA. died at her residence at 7:05 P.M. Saturday July 28, 2012 after a courageous battle with colon cancer.
- Born in Shippenville, Clarion County on Dec. 09, 1945 daughter of the late Hazel Wedekind Hodge.
- She was a graduate of Oil City Senior High School, attended Pitt Titusville and graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Clarion University.
- Nancy was a licensed CPA and operated her own accounting office in Titusville for many years.
- An avid bridge player, she played in several duplicate bridge groups. She was on the VNA Board for 17 yrs. and was a member of the Community Playhouse.
Survivors include her son James Rogers of Cooperstown and a granddaughter Jenna Rogers also of Cooperstown. Two sisters Kim Hodge and her husband Tom Brodzik of Lathrup Village, MI, and Pam and Larry Keverline of Venus. Numerous Aunts , Uncles and Cousins of the Wedekind Family also survive. Extended family survivors also include Kathy and Dan Stofan, Jeff and Jackie Sherretts and Sara Sherretts and their families.
- The family will receive friends in the Reinsel Funeral Home and Crematory from 2-4,7-9 Tuesday. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wed. at the Wedekind Cemetery on Knight Town Rd. in Shippenville.
- Memorials are being accepted at N/W Savings Bank to start a Scholarship Fund for her granddaughter Jenna Rogers in Memory of Nancy.
